No matter how many times you do it, travel is stressful. There are logistics related to finding a flight and a hotel within budget. Next, you need to map out points of interest and figure out how to navigate using local transportation. The latter becomes even more challenging when traveling internationally. Luckily, ride-share brands are making this process less of a headache, most notably with Uber’s recent rollout of their airport kiosks at Toronto’s Terminal 3 international airport.
For the first time, travelers who want to hail a ride can do so without the Uber app. Even for those who normally use the app, an added benefit with the kiosks is the ability to book a ride without using international data or fussing with airport wifi. The kiosks can also help individuals who are not comfortable using an app catch a ride, or those have not yet created an account. Uber’s airport kiosks represent another step towards the company’s goal of increasing ride share access to everyone, no matter their tech fluency. Elevate Staffing partnered with Uber on the project and provided helpful brand ambassadors to guide passengers through the process, giving an element of the human touch that made all the difference for those eager to get to their next destination.
