Event Spotlight: Rekorder-land

For many, summertime is the best time of the year. People enjoy longer holidays, bask in the sun, and indulge in the festivities that come with the season. But summer does have one element that we all try to “beat” – namely, the heat. In helping consumers keep cool in the unusually intense heat of this past summer, cider brand Rekorderlig found an opportunity to showcase their newest botanicals flavors.

To showcase the company’s refreshing beverages, Rekorderlig worked with Cake Group to bring Rekorder-land to life at Underbelly Festival Southbank. The company’s multi-sensory brand experience expertly incorporated mixed reality technology to amplify the event’s impact. Attendees who purchased tickets ahead of time were given a Magic Leap AR headset, which transported them into a Swedish mid-summer. The technology blurred the lines between the real and virtual, allowing wearers to both see and touch their new world. Once they were done with the experience, attendees sampled and rated the flavors from the botanicals line. Elevate Staffing provided a team of tech-savvy brand ambassadors who ensured each attendee had a summer experience to remember.
