When it comes to street wear, what’s on your feet matters – a lot. Trainers say so much about your personality, attitude – you don’t have to be a “sneakerhead” to care passionately about footwear.
Popular street wear brand, Puma, recently released their Rider trainer, launching in JD store on Oxford Street in London. The activation gave consumers the opportunity to not only purchase the new trainer, but interact directly with the brand. The main attraction was the Customization Station, whereby customers could digitally draw their own unique design onto their trainer. Brand ambassadors printed their designs onsite and helped consumers upload the art onto their social media profiles.
Additionally, consumers who uploaded their image onto Instagram and tagged @JDOfficial and @pumasportstyle were automatically entered into a competition to have their design come to life! The winner will design their own pair of Rider trainers – epic.
