If you’ve ever tried to find the perfect pair of jeans, with each discarded pair you may have determined it an unattainable goal. For many, shopping for jeans might mean finding the a pair that fits your waist, but is not working for your legs (or vice versa). Add in the seemingly drastic differences in size based on brand, and suddenly it’s impossible to even know where to start. Well, denim brand Next hears you, and recently launched a line of affordable “in-between” sizes. Next partnered with Backlash Creative to design the Happy Go Denim Launderette. And the 4-day retro-styled experience was much more than a retail store. Consumers were led through the space and given personal style advice from product experts.
Elevate Staffing was enlisted to supply the best-fit (pun intended) event staff and product experts for the activation. Only staff with fashion knowledge and experience in retail were recruited to assure the best teams were assembled. Beyond that, event staffing teams attended a face-to-face training and completed a quiz to confirm their understanding of the new line and the activation. With an experienced event manager on site to guide the team throughout the activity, everyone worked cohesively, even without a direct presence from Next or Backlash.
