While there have been many causalities of the pandemic, movie theaters in particular don’t have a clear path to reopening. However, as theaters across the world have shuttered, there has been a winning side: drive-in theaters. Over the past few months, once defunct drive-in theaters have been revived, while major retailer WalMart converted its parking lots to make room for increased drive-in demand.
Recently in the heat of the Texas late-summer, Picturehouse and A-List Communications took their movie premiere outdoors. The drive-in screening of FATIMA debuted this past Monday at The Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas. The film, which touches on themes surrounding peace, hope, and love, couldn’t have come at a better time, as moviegoers soaked in the movie magic.
Elevate brand ambassadors served as greeters, check-in guides, parking attendants, photo opp facilitators, and crowd directional support at the premiere. They also distributed specialized concession boxes to each vehicle, maintained the luxury restroom trailers, and encouraged guests to take unique photos in the drive-thru photobooth.
Our specialty-trained event staff also enforced proper health and safety guidelines so guests felt comfortable and relaxed. Although our brand ambassadors’ friendly smiles were hidden due to the mask requirement, movie guests left with overwhelmingly positive reviews and a much-needed sense of normalcy. And keep an eye out! The drive-in series plans to touch down in 8 cities across the U.S. in the coming weeks.
The experiential marketing industry is adapting to our new world, and so is Elevate! Our health and safety-trained specialists ensure your brand activation or event runs smoothly and safely.
