UK Brand Ambassador of the Month: Sam S.

Each month, Elevate rewards one brand ambassador from both the U.K. and U.S. for embodying our values and performing exceptionally for our clients. Each B.A. of the Month wins a £50 gift card and bragging rights! This month, our UK team is recognizing Sam Stevenson as their office’s outstanding brand ambassador. Thanks for all you do Sam!

Why Sam Stood Out and Won this Month’s UK Brand Ambassador Recognition

Sam is an experienced brand ambassador and has been working promotions for about 3 years. Since joining the Elevate team almost 2 years ago, he has always been happy to jump in when we need an exceptional team member. This year alone, he has worked on 8 different Elevate campaigns. Some of these include Cogs and Marvel’s Google conference, an Oculus event at the Natural History Museum, and an event with Facebook. His tech-savviness helped propel him to become one of our go-to staffing choices, eventually leading him to be a part of our elite Oculus Demo Specialist team.

Sam consistently proves that he is adaptable and the perfect choice for many different types of campaigns. The feedback he receives is consistently brilliant, and we can always trust him to impress a client and inspire consumers.

We are all impressed with his work and are proud to call him a member of the Elevate team!

Want to get ahead as a brand ambassador? Below are some tips from Sam for rising above the pack.

What advice would you give to new brand ambassadors trying to book more jobs?

I guess just throw yourself into it. Say yes to everything! You’ll learn so much from doing as much as possible.

What frustrations do you come across on the job and how do you manage/troubleshoot them?

Long days can be hard – you have to find the energy to get through the day but that’s when you rely on the people you work with, and their energy and attitudes can always get you through!

How long have you worked with Elevate? What brought you to the Elevate team?

Two years so far – my friend was an EM through Elevate and recommended you highly – I was looking for promo work so I applied!

What’s been the key to your success in this industry?

Being positive! You have to accept promo work for what it is, whether you have a great job or a long day it’s always about having fun!
