UK Brand Ambassador of the Month – Evan C.

Each month, Elevate rewards one brand ambassador from both the U.K. and U.S. for embodying our values and performing exceptionally for our clients. Each B.A. of the Month wins a £50 gift card and bragging rights! This month, our U.K. honor goes to Evan C. Congrats, and thanks for your hard work!

Why Evan Stood Out and Won this Month’s UK Brand Ambassador Recognition

While in university, Evan worked promotions to earn extra cash and eventually went into the world of B2B sales. Having spent 5 years in that profession, Evan was looking for a change, when someone suggested event managing. He quickly built up a reputation as a top staff member in the industry, and when he joined the Elevate team earlier this year, he quickly proved himself..

Evan is always up for trying new things and he pushes himself to perform to the best of his ability every time. He has a good heart and always goes above and beyond for our clients’ activations. He is a trusted member of the team because of his positive attitude and willingness to make the event or campaign an incredible experience for everyone! He is truly a joy to work with.

Thank you for all you do, Evan!

Evan’s Tips, Tricks, and Advice for Being a Standout Event Manager

Evan’s extensive experience makes him a great resource for aspiring event managers and brand ambassadors who want to learn what it takes to be a go-to resource for staffing agencies in the experiential marketing world.

1. What advice would you give to new staff members like yourself, who want to be booked on more jobs?

Listen carefully in your briefing: who are we representing, what are the targets and who is the customer? Then leave your ego at the door and have fun.

2. What frustrations do you come across on jobs and how do you manage or troubleshoot them?

“(I get frustrated) when a job doesn’t go to plan or it gets cancelled last minute, although I understand that’s all part of working in this industry. You just always must be flexible and work with what you’re given.

3. What’s been the key to your success in the industry?

Attitude, activity, and quality. Enjoy yourself, take everything with a pinch of salt. You’ve got targets and you will get out what you put in. If you do things properly you should only have to do them once.
