UK Brand Ambassador of the Month – Andy B.

Each month, Elevate rewards one brand ambassador from both the U.K. and U.S. for embodying our values and performing exceptionally for our clients. Each B.A. of the Month wins a £50 gift card and bragging rights! This month, our U.K. honor goes to Andy B. Congrats, and thanks for your hard work!

Why Andy Stood Out and Won this Month’s UK Brand Ambassador Recognition

Andy started in the promotional industry in 2010 because he loved the flexibility, meeting new people, and getting the opportunity to work with great products. Fast forward to 2015 when Andy, by a leap of faith, joined the Elevate team. Since that day, he has proven himself to be a massive asset to our team.

Andy has worked on a range of campaigns with Elevate, from Assistant Event Manager positions on the streets on London to demonstrating VR content at international conferences. He has worked with us at the O2 Centre, on Sky’s Ocean Rescue project, and a range of VR gigs, including the recent Oculus Go Launch.

No matter what brand he represents, Andy’s hard-work and enthusiasm shines through. And his kooky personality always captures the attention of consumers! He has the perfect attitude to succeed in promo work because he is flexible, reliable and is always willing to jump in!

Thank you for all you do, Andy!

1. What frustrations do you come across on the job and how do you manage/troubleshoot them?

“Probably when you work with people who don’t want to listen or work! It’s a bit of a struggle but if you just get on with your bit you can create the best atmosphere as possible.”

2. What’s been the key your success in this industry?

“Just be weird, quirky and different! It’s important to stay happy and approachable – in this industry you have to have an open mind.”

3. What advice would you give to new brand ambassadors trying to book more jobs?

“Be reliable – the more jobs you do and the more committed you are the more you’ll get booked! Don’t be a diva – sometimes you have to get your hands dirty!”
