College Tailgate Tour

Elevate teams distributed samples of Wendy’s products in promotion of Wendy’s as the Official Hamburger of the NCAA, to college football fans in 15 Markets across the US, over 13 weeks.

What We Did

Partnering with The Marketing Arm, Elevate provided local teams of brand ambassadors who engaged fans, delivered product messaging, and created brand awareness, while taking orders and distributing samples of Dave’s Singles, Vanilla Frostys, Vanilla Cookie Frosty Sundaes, and Frosty Hot Chocolate.  In addition, Elevate provided delivery bike teams, in select markets, which promoted Wendy’s new partnership with DOORDASH, by completing surprise and delight deliveries of Wendy’s to fans.


How We Did It

Elevate delivered local brand ambassador teams in each of the 15 college markets who were high energy, family friendly, engaging, customer service oriented, college football fans. They were able to effectively work in a fan-filled, fast-paced tailgate environment and meet product sampling objectives. Due to the college football schedule, many times exact event locations and times were not known until the week of the event, yet Elevate succeeded through proactive recruitment, contingency planning, and detailed project management and communication.
